PHD Virtual Ranked Amongst Fastest Growing Companies in North America on Deloitte’s 2013 Technology Fast 500

deloittePHD Virtual today announced it ranked 353 on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500™, a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies in North America. PHD Virtual grew 224% percent during this period.

PHD Virtual’s CEO, James Legg, credits technology innovation with a variety of game-changing product announcements and expansion of its distribution network and enhanced partner program with the company’s 224% revenue growth. Legg said, “During the period, PHD released PHD Virtual Backup and ReliableDR product upgrades to meet growing customer needs for innovative, easy-to-use and cost effective data protection solutions. We also added new global distributors and resellers to make access to our products easier and increase our worldwide footprint.”

Overall, 2013 Technology Fast 500™ companies achieved revenue growth ranging from 137 percent to 208,897 percent from 2008 to 2012, with an average growth of 2,600 percent.

In addition to the Deloitte award, PHD Virtual was also recently listed on the Philadelphia 100, a merit-based program that awards only the fastest growing, privately-held companies in the local Philadelphia region with the distinction. Started in 1988 by The Entrepreneurs’ Forum of Greater Philadelphia, The Philadelphia Business Journal and the Wharton SBDC, the Philadelphia 100 has recognized some of the region’s finest companies.
